Gear raiders struck Thurston Moore again this week. On December 12 his mid-60’s Jazzmaster was stolen from a hotel room in Philadelphia. He has filed a police report about it and is asking people in the area to keep an eye out at guitar shops. Sonic Youth infamously had most of their modified, one of a kind gear stolen in 1999; they’ve been slowly recovering it since then, with two guitars popping up as recently as this summer.
