In a quickly deleted tweet and now deleted twitter account. Eddie Murphy tweeted “Coming to America sequel?” with a photo of Princess Imani Izzi.
TMZ reports that Eddie Murphy doesn’t actually tweet himself, but has a social media team for that, or HAD a social media team. The announcement was supposed to be made at a later date, once more details were available.
Eddie Murphy is reportedly working on a sequel and is in the early stages of the script. I guess the royal penis as not quite clean yet.
No word on the cast, or timeline, but I do know that if we don’t get a Coming to America sequel I will be forced to thrash you.
2018 would be the 30th Anniversary of Coming to America, the greatest movie of Eddie Murphy’s career.
We just hope the wait is worth it. As Prince Akeem would say, “No journey is too great when one finds what he seeks”
