Author and illustrator Dav Pilkey’s first Captain Underpants book was published in 1997. The series has grown to 12 books, translated into over 20 languages, with more than 70 million books sold worldwide.
Now the story of Captain Underpants is coming to the big screen. Directed by David Soren, and starring Kevin Hart, Ed Helms, Nick Kroll, Thomas Middleditch, Jordan Peele and Kristen Schaal, CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS: THE FIRST EPIC MOVIE is scheduled to be released on June 2nd, 2017 by 20th Century Fox.
