Joni is such a sweetie with one beautiful blue eye! So gentle and easy to take out of her cage. Walks well on a leash. She seems overwhelmed at the shelter but was so excited to get out of her cage and explore outside. She allowed handling all over and loved belly rubs! She was sad to go back in her cage and curled up on her blanket to block out all the noise! Came into the shelter on 5/17 as a stray.
Joni has had a few playgroup tests where she shows a lot of barrier reactivity. She doesn’t show as much reactivity walking by other dogs on leash. Even so, at this time we recommend her to be the only dog in the home.
