Check out our photo galleries from Riot Fest last weekend! There’s one for Friday, one for Saturday, and one for Sunday.

Did you lose anything at Riot Fest last weekend, aside from your dignity and hearing? If so, you may be in luck, for we have a lost and found! If you’re missing something, or your mom hasn’t been returning your texts since you split up so she could check out Dead Cross while you were at Shabazz Palaces on Saturday, please email ‘[email protected]’ with the subject “Riot Fest Chicago – Lost Item” and a detailed description of the item. After 30 days, all unclaimed items will be donated, destroyed, or fed to the dog.

Tommy Stinson’s Bash & Pop has new music out! Check out “Too Late,” a beautifully soulful ballad that was written by Tommy years ago, and only fully realized once laid down in a studio in Nashville with producer and duet partner Nicole Atkins. “Too Late” is the A-side to B-side “Saturday” for an upcoming 7″ and digital single, out on November 24th via Fat Possum.

Bash & Pop has just embarked on a long tour supporting of the Psychedelic Furs, which stops at Chicago’s Thalia Hall on October 17th and 18th.

Andrew W.K. has a new album coming out March 2, 2018 on Sony! Title, artwork and all the other bits you’d normally read here are [TK], as they say in the publishing world.

“I’m going for the sound of pure, unadulterated power; every emotion, every thought, every experience, every sensation, every fear, every joy, every clarity, every confusion, every up, every down,” W.K. said in a statement about his first new album in what seems like fucking forever. He adds that it’s “all extruded and concentrated into one thick syrup of super life-force feeling, and then psychically amplified by the celebratory spirit of glorious partying.” Sounds about right, we’re in.

Did you know that Sonicbids has a blog? Neither did I, until they led off their 5 DIY Musicians Whose Writing You Should Read Right Now feature with our pal Alex White the other day. They point out the White Mystery singer/songwriter/guitarist/engine’s Riot Fest column, Why DIY?, which packs in some great advice for up-and-coming musicians, agents and managers who are looking to groom themselves for a life in music.

Morrissey is on Twitter, and his first ever tweet is all you need today.
