Twix is a scared little milky mamma. Just a baby who had babies and was dumped. Poor girl. She curls up in a corner of her cage and looks at you with sad eyes. Twix is a smaller girl who was very easy to leash up and get out of her kennel. She ducked down a lot as we walked out of the pavilion, a bit unsure of where she was and looked to me for reassurance. We eventually picked her up and carried her outside, which she loved. Twix is very shy and timid at first, and when outside she rolls onto her back and wants you to rub her belly, soaking in the sunshine. We eventually made it to a run where we hung out and cuddled. She is very, very sweet and gentle. Twix just wants to cuddle up by your side and get your warmth and love. Her notes say she is 2 years old but seems younger. Twix doesn’t seem to know any commands at this time but is full of love and needs a patient and affectionate adopter to help her come out of her shell and feel safe. She really sticks to your side and wanted to be carried back inside when we were done. We adore her.
Twix briefly met a male on the leash and seemed to perk up. We recommend additional testing to homes with dogs.
