Happy Release Day! Stream the Wonder Years’ New Album, ‘Sister Cities’

Happy Release Day! Stream the Wonder Years’ New Album, ‘Sister Cities’

April 6, 2018 (April 6, 2018) // Riot Fest

In case you missed it, the Wonder Years officially released its new album Sister Cities via Hopeless Records. You can stream it below, which will give you plenty of time to memorize all the lyrics so you can sing along with them at Concord Music Hall in Chicago on June 3.

“Sister Cities came about in a very systematic way,” the Wonder Years frontman Dan Campbell tells the Independent. “I was journaling on tour and as a band we were taking photographs of everything and once the tour was finished, I had this stack of journals and photographs to look through. I scanned them all in and then printed them right back out and started highlighting anything that I thought was interesting to me, any moments I had that felt important. Then I started to organize them into different categories or topics and collated all the experiences together that thematically fit a song. It was the experiences themselves over two years of life on the road that struck me as most important to write about.”

Sister Cities Track List:

01. Raining in Kyoto
02. Pyramids of Salt
03. It Must Get Lonely
04. Sister Cities
05. Flowers Where Your Face Should Be
06. Heaven’s Gate (Sad & Sober)
07. We Look Like Lightning
08. The Ghosts of Right Now
09. When the Blue Finally Came
10. The Orange Grove
11. The Ocean Grew Hands to Hold Me
