Jimmy Eat World will be singing a praise chorus to kickstart Atlanta’s rock ‘n’ rolling heart at the Shaky Knees festival tonight. The fans are on their feet, they’re on the floor, and they’re nearly good to go; however all they need is just to hear two songs they don’t know.
Thankfully, the band just released a 7-inch with two brand new songs. “Love Never” is reportedly a “gloriously direct, adrenaline-charged rush, aimed at both head and heart alike,” while the flip, “half heart,” serves as “an emotionally charged counterpoint.” Jimmy Eat World recorded the new single—its first new music since 2016’s Integrity Blues—in its home state of Arizona with Grammy-winning producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
