Once again, The Riot Fest Foundation has teamed up with the Douglas Park Advisory Council for the Let’s Share The Warmth Coat Drive and are now accepting new and gently used coats for children and adults as well as gloves, hats, and scarves.
If you would like to donate a new coat or have a gently used coat at home that you are not using, you can make the winter a little better for someone in need. DPAC mission is to provide opportunities to achieve community goals through community outreach, positive communications, and interaction with community residents, park patrons, and with public and private organizations. DPAC has since committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents of the North Lawndale area through development and maintenance of parklands and facilities.
