Share The Warmth, Donate A Coat: 3rd Annual Douglas Park Coat Drive

Share The Warmth, Donate A Coat: 3rd Annual Douglas Park Coat Drive

December 3, 2019 (February 18, 2026) // Riot Fest

The Riot Fest Foundation is joining forces with the Douglas Park Advisory Council once again for the 3rd annual Let’s Share The Warmth Coat Drive. Starting December 6, we’ll be accepting new and gently used coats for children and adults, as well as gloves, hats, and scarves.

If you’d like to donate a new coat, or have a gently used coat at home that you’re not using, you can make the winter a little better for someone in need. Plus, it feels pretty good to do nice things for people. New or gently used winter items—coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and other winter accessories—are accepted, in both child and adult sizes for all ages.

Donations can be dropped off at one of our designated drop off locations below:

Douglas Park Fieldhouse
1401 S. Sacramento Drive
Chicago, IL 60623.
Hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-8pm / Sat: 9am-5pm

Cobra Lounge

About Douglas Park Advisory Council:

Established in October 2016, Douglas Park Advisory Council (hereinafter DPAC) is a group of innovative, dedicated, focused, creative and critical thinking volunteers located on the Westside of Chicago at Douglas Park Cultural Center. DPAC mission is to provide opportunities to achieve community goals through community outreach, positive communications, and interaction with community residents, park patrons, and with public and private organizations. DPAC has since committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents of the North Lawndale area through development and maintenance of parklands and facilities. DPAC promotes community involvement and leadership by providing recreation programs, special events, educational resources, and employment opportunities. DPAC will make sure donated items are distributed to children and adults of all ages.
