Kingsbury has a sad story. He’s been surrendered to the shelter TWICE! The first time, because the owners did not have time for him, and just recently because the landlord thought he was “too big.” Kingsbury’s previous owners said he previously lived with other dogs when he was younger. and lived with a 12 yo child since he was born. Kingsbury was referred to as a “lover of all people-he’s a “people dog.”” Kingsbury is a legit hunk! He’s the kind of dog who will stop you in your tracks when you walk by. He sits like a human in his kennel, never making a peep, but staring out at you with his stunning light eyes.
Kingsbury might be big, but he knows his size. He won’t bowl you over, won’t overwhelm you, but he will love you. He enjoys playing with toys, rolling in the mud, butt scratches and hanging out with other dogs. Kingsbury is around 3 years old. When his original owner had to surrender him, he had tears in his eyes, told us King was a very good boy, and to please take care of him.
