The Flaming Lips’ New ‘Soft Bulletin’ Live Album Sure Looks Neat

The Flaming Lips’ New ‘Soft Bulletin’ Live Album Sure Looks Neat

The Soft Bulletin turns 20 this year
October 23, 2019 (October 23, 2019) // Riot Fest

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Soft Bulletin, The Flaming Lips have unveiled their first-ever live album due out November 29.

The title, The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, pretty much gives you all the info you need: It’s a full performance of their beloved ninth studio album The Soft Bulletin, was recorded in 2016 at the gorgeous Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado (you know, the one with the pretty rocks), and the performance included a 68-piece orchestra and a 57-member choir. Not too shabby!

You can preorder it here and listen to a track off the record, “Race for the Prize,” above. The track listing is below.

The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra Tracklist:

01. Race for the Prize
02. A Spoonful Weighs a Ton
03. The Spark That Bled
04. The Spiderbite Song
05. Buggin’
06. What Is the Light?
07. The Observer
08. Waitin’ for a Superman
09. Suddenly Everything Has Changed
10. The Gash
