Have years of intense emoting finally worn all your old Used shirts down to dishrags? Looking for a re-up to keep you outfitted for all the brooding/pining/raging you’ve got planned for the near future?
Streetwear brand Broken Promises (whose sticker pack we just featured in our 4/20 guide) is coming to the rescue with a three-item merch capsule for the Riot Fest veterans, featuring a sweatshirt and two tees fusing the Used’s iconic visual aesthetic with Broken Promises co-founders Mandee Bence and Jason Blake’s unabashedly mall-gothic sensibility.
The band says:
“We are very excited to be collaborating with Broken Promises, a streetwear platform that allows an outlet of artistic expression. Their designs speak for themselves and we’ve been fans of the brand since the very beginning. We share a very diverse and similar fanbase, and the open and creative flow of energy we put into our music really aligns with Broken Promises’ designs. Merging music and fashion is a great way to express ourselves, and when you’re excited about a style of clothes you’re wearing or a type of music you like, that helps you connect with other like-minded people. Those connections are on a higher level of consciousness. We hope you enjoy this visual adventure with us.”
The collection is available now at brokenpromisesco.com.
