Feast your eyes: We’re announcing the Riot Fest 2021 first wave lineup a whole year and three months early, and tickets are ON SALE NOW. My Chemical Romance is still here, and they’ll be joined by The Smashing Pumpkins, Run the Jewels, Pixies, and many more.
There’s no easy way to say this: We’re postponing this year’s Riot Fest until September 17-19, 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Put short, it simply wouldn’t be a safe decision to move forward with this year’s festival. So we’re going to start planning next year’s, and we’re going to make sure it kicks ass. We’re heartbroken, but it’s in the best interest of everyone’s health and safety—and we know it’s going to be worth the wait come next September.
Those who already have a ticket to Riot Fest 2020—or anyone who buys a ticket by July 16, 2020—will gain admission to a special Thursday Preview Party on September 16, 2021. This extra night of Riot Fest will be jam-packed with secret sets from mystery bands, some of which will be Thursday exclusives. You can finally take that Ferris wheel ride, get first dibs on hot merch, and stuff your face with your favorite fried foods.
Can’t go in 2021? We completely understand. You can request a full or partial refund here—just be sure to do so by July 16. Have any more questions? (Yeah, of course you do.) Head over to our 2021 FAQ.
We know it’ll be a while before we see you all again, but we’re going to get through this together. In the meantime, we’ll have many, many more band announcements, full-album performances, and special surprises to come in the following months. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe, take care of each other, and we’ll see you in 469 days, along with:
