This July, you can help the homeless, get some exercise, and win Riot Fest tickets all at the same time. A Safe Haven Foundation is keeping its virtual 5K going with the 2nd Annual Global Virtual Run/Walk to End Homelessness. Everyone who signs up for the race is entered to win a pair of Riot Fest tickets!
SIGN UP HERE!In continuation of our partnership with the Douglas Park Neighborhood Organization, the Riot Fest Foundation will be donating 50 3-day passes to Riot Fest 2021. Everyone who signs up for the race is automatically entered to win! We’ll be giving away a pair every Friday up until the last day of the race (July 25).
If you’re unable to walk or run, you can still support the cause by donating or sponsoring a team. There is no middleman, all donations go directly to help the homeless get access to a roof over their head, food, holistic services, and their entire lives and families’ lives, back on track!
Here’s how to get involved:
STEP 1: REGISTER AND FUNDRAISE
Sign up for the event and then tell the world! Set up and share your fundraising page any which way you can—and, if you’d like, sign up for the Riot Fest Foundation Team!
STEP 2: GET THE SWAG
We’ve made it easier than pie. Shipping costs for your Registration Packet are included in your registration fee. So, sit tight at home and your race packet will come to you.
STEP 3: DOWNLOAD THE COURSE APP
Search for RaceJoy on your phone’s app store and download it for free. Search for the event and complete a short registration. Follow the on-screen instructions to test tracking and set up alerts. You can run or walk anywhere!
STEP 4: PICK A DAY AND DO IT
Run or walk any day within the run period (July 17–25). You can start and finish your race wherever you want, even at your front door, via the RaceJoy app—where you’ll post your results at the end.
STEP 5: CELEBRATE WITH US
Tune in via A Safe Haven on Saturday, July 25 for a special thank you!
