Southpaw Schools Seminars + Free Baseball Camp For Kids Ages 5-13
We’re not stopping at baseball! The Sox are also helping us support kids at schools in the Douglass Park area. Riot Fest is sponsoring anti-bullying seminars starring the White Sox mascot Southpaw at Chalmers Elementary School near Douglass Park and Maria Saucedo Scholastic Academy in Little Village.
Then, all children ages 5-13 are invited to the free White Sox summer baseball camp! On August 20, at Douglass Park’s main field, we’ll have three hour-and-a-half long sessions with White Sox coaches. Participants will also get an exclusive White Sox gift bag seen above! This includes a kids drawstring bag, a Chicago White Sox flag, a player magnet, a Tim Anderson chain and a pack of Topps baseball cards.
