Details on The Afterman, the new album from Coheed and Cambria have been announced. Instead of doing a traditional double album the band will relerase it in two parts. The first, titled The Afterman: Ascension is due out October 9 while the second part, The Afterman: Descension, is set for a February 2013 release. A teaser for the album, which marks the return of founding drummer Josh Eppard, can be seen below along with quite a few fall tour dates.
