As you might have heard over the weekend if you went anywhere near a social media website, founding and former Cro-Mag’s bassist Harley Flanagan attacked two current membersof the band backstage at their Webster Hall show this weekend. Flanagan entered the dressing room area and lunged after bassist Mike “The Gook” Couls with a 4-5 inch blade, slicing him on the arm and stomach, before biting William Berario on the face and slashing him above the eye. Security quickly quelled the incident, with Flanagan suffering a broken leg before it was done. All three were taken to the hospital for treatment, though Harley was in handcuffs, charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The rest of the show was immeditely canceled. An “on the street” report from right after the incident can be seen below.
