“Yes, I’m ready to order. Can I please have the Denny’s Grand Slam with bacon and a side of toast? And instead of paying with cash, I’ll just try and pay with a bag of weed.”
This is exactly what a man from Niagra Falls attempted. Clearly his attempt was unsuccessful as his case made national headlines. Around 2am, a $9.91 was purchased by the gentleman. When the receipt was brought over, he placed a $1 along with a bag of weed onto the table. When the waitress refused, the smarty pants decided to try and sell the weed to patrons in the store.
Long story short, police were summoned and he was placed in the slammer. Or should we call it the “Grand Slammer.”
