Sure, police officers are known for their impeccable donut tasting palette (cop/donut joke #3786372),
but they’re also known for carrying that massive utility belt with dozens of pockets and straps. And don’t
tell us you’ve never thought about grabbing the gun and running away from the 250lb officer to see if he
could catch you. Yeah, neither did we.
Well for 2 officers in Vaughn, New Mexico, you couldn’t even fantasize about that because they aren’t
allowed to carry a gun or bullets. (Step aside as the crime rate rises).
Chief Ernest Amijo and Deputy Brian Bernal had their privileges taken away and are now forced to fend
for themselves with the wooden club. Chief Ernest was indicted for nonpayment of child support while
Deputy Brian has a domestic violence conviction on his record.
Hope they have mastered the “death stare” because a showdown would get awkward, quick.
