Have another drink – YOLO. Have another smoke – YOLO. Have another drink and then drive – YOLO.
The famous acronym YOLO, You Only Live Once, has turned into the perfect reason, or excuse, to do whatever the F you want without any rebuttle. Ervin McKiness, a promising young rapper from Southern California who went by the stage name “Inkyy” and “Jew’elz”, sent out a a tweet around 1am over Labor Day weekend while drunk driving. The tweet reads, “Drunk af going 120 drifting corners #F***It. YOLO.” One minute later, another tweet was sent out, “Driving tweeting sipping the cup f*** yolo I’m turning it up.” Just after sending that final tweet, YOLO took on a whole new meaning when he lost control of the car and crashed into a wall after running a red light. All five men in the car were instantly killed.
Moral of the story: don’t drink & drive. YOLO.
