A while back New Order mentioned plans to release a collection of outtakes from 2005. Plans have now solidified and The Lost Sirens is set for release on January 14, 2013. The mini-album features songs written and recorded in 2005 during the Waiting For The Sirens Call sessions. These will be the last recordings issued with original bassist Peter Hook, who is not a part of the band’s latest reformation. According to the report, the original plan for these recordings was to release them 18 months after the proper LP, but the band never got around to it. The track list can be seen below.
