Something fishy is going on in Philadelphia. A lady was walking along minding her own business when a 5 pound catfish fell from the sky and smacked her in the face.
Lisa Lobree told the Philly Enquirer, “Suddenly I was slammed by something, I was like, ‘What?!’ I was freaking out.”
“It definitely hurt me and I didn’t know what happened,” Lobree said.
Was it an angry bird targeting Lisa for some past discretion? Was it Lew Zealand with a boomerang fish? We may never know, but witnesses reported seeing a bird flying away.
Fortunately, Lisa walked away with only minor injuries, a cut under her eye and some swelling.
“I smelled really bad. I was so disgusted,” she said. “I was a little bit shocked, actually.”
“It was the first catfish that my face caught.”
The catfish, about 16 inches long and weighing 5 pounds, is not considered a suspect.
If you are in Philadelphia, beware of flying fish and vengeful birds. Police have no suspects
