Daily Riot Fest Roundup

June 7, 2017 // Riot Fest

Today is National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, as well as National Running Day. So go eat a few scoops of chocolate ice cream and then jog that shit off.

ICYMI: MIA released a new song today. She dedicates “GOALS” to her hardcore fans.

Rancid has blessed us with more new music from their forthcoming album Trouble Maker (out on June 9th via Hellcat/Epitaph). Say “hello” to “Farewell Lola Blue” and “Say Goodbye To Our Heroes.”

Fat Wreck Chords has just announced a new No Use For A Name release. They’re set to release Rarities Vol 1: The Covers on August 11th, which is the result of combing through the band’s archives, channeling their inner-Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Included in the collection are covers of Cheap Trick, Sublime, The Misfits, The Pogues, and more! Here’s hoping Vol 2 isn’t far off. Check out the track listing here.

Blink-182 has just released a new video for “Home Is Such A Lonely Place” from last year’s California album. It’s a nice clip, showing the guys being chill dudes at home, which is something we don’t often get to see.

Gogol Bordello has just announced a “very magical and playful” new record called Seekers and Finders, due out August 25th via Cooking Vinyl, and have released a lyric video for the first single, “Saboteur Blues.”

At the Drive In just announced some UK tour dates with Royal Blood and Black Honey, check them out at their website.

Menzingers shout out the real heroes at the big shows.

The ASL interpreter on the jumbo screen at this @theavettbros concert is fucking awesome. You make us to be human.

Paramore shared a photo from before After Laughter, which they started recording one year ago today.

Looks like Four Year Strong are doing an “underplay,” as they say in the biz, next week in London.

London. We are playing the smallest room we could find. Less than 100 tickets avail. Its going to be wild. https://t.co/4QbyV5HAWi pic.twitter.com/Y0q3Rzb2TM

The Hold Steady is rehearsing for their cool little run of shows in Chicago next week.
