PEACHES A049984 • Neutered 6 year-old Female • Available for Adoption at Chicago ACC
Peaches was adopted from CACC when she was just a puppy and unfortunately she found herself back here as a stray. No one came for her.
Peaches is very eager to come out of her cage. She almost knocked me over she wants to be outside so bad. She displayed a higher energy level in the playlot – with lots of running around, jumping up and wanting to play with me. She showed passing interest in toys but quickly ignored them when something more interesting was in view. Peaches is very eager to come out of her cage. Peaches is very food motivated now and will promptly sit for treats. She can be a bit grabby when taking treats. We did some work on that and she is slowly learning how to be more gentle. She can get a little overexcited when you come down to her level and she climbs on you and tries to kiss your face but ends up bopping you in the nose. She sometimes listens to corrections. She just needs regular exercise to burn off all of her pent-up energy. Peaches female who came into the shelter on 6/11 as a stray.
Peaches has been a part of playgroup and does best with male dogs who are easy going and co-exist without a lot of contact.
