Rylan Wilder, the 15-year-old frontman of Monarchy Over Monday, was the unfortunate victim of gun violence last weekend when a police officer in pursuit of a bank robber accidentally shot Rylan twice. He’s recovering right now and has undergone multiple surgeries on both his arm and stomach, with more to follow.
Rylan is one of the youngest people to ever play Riot Fest—if you were at Riot Fest 2019, maybe you saw Monarchy Over Monday on Saturday. While he’s in stable condition, he’s got a long road to recovery ahead of him and his insurance won’t cover most of the medical fees.
