There’s only one Blockbuster left in the world—and if you’re lucky, you can spend the night in it with all the movies and snacks you want for just $4.
The video rental chain had over 9,000 locations at one point; In March of 2019, the Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon became the last of its kind. The store, independently owned and operated, has partnered with Airbnb and decked out the inside with a pull-out couch, beanbags, an old CRT television, and all the other makings of a perfect 90s sleepover. Plus, you’ll have access to all the movies and video games in the store, with pizza and snacks included.
…cause the last BLOCKBUSTER in the world will be offering movie lovers in Bend a 90s themed sleepover for a limited time—only on airbnb. who’s down? 👀https://t.co/dd4yz1UtZP pic.twitter.com/NJEZK2wxeW

The catch? Well, you have to live in Deschutes County in Oregon, so most of us are out of luck. (The store owner wanted the sweepstakes to serve as a thank-you to local support during the pandemic.) But hey, if that’s not a problem for you, what are you waiting for? This sounds like a dream.
Enter over at Airbnb—and if you still want a taste of Blockbuster nostalgia, there’s some very retro merch available on the store’s website.
