In just a few weeks, Softcult will stop in Chicago at Cobra Lounge for a show with Soft Blue Shimmer–capping off the end of another season of intermittent sunshine, rain, or snow, or hail and rain.. and snow here in the Midwest.

And what better way to embrace your inner darkness than with a dreary playlist of tunes from our favorite bummer pop Canadian mall goths, Mercedes and Phoenix of Softcult?

The twins took some time out from their tour to assemble a playlist of their most inspired mall goth tunes, and it’s available for you to listen to for free. (You’re welcome.)

The playlist features the best songs from Softcult and tour mates Soft Blue Shimmer, with appearances from Chicago-scene legends Veruca Salt, Riot Fest 2015 alums Deftones and Nine Inch Nails, another pair of twins, The Veronicas, and a smattering of honorary mall goths.
