LOCAL TRANSPO
We strongly urge festival attendees to either take public transportation, ride a bicycle, or take a cab or ride-sharing service to Riot Fest. These are the most effective, environmentally sound, and neighborly methods to get to Douglass Park.
The CTA Pink Line’s California Ave. stop is just blocks away from the festival entrance—it’s the most convenient route to the fest. While you’re in the neighborhood, you should check out the Neighborhood Guide, or pull up the neighborhood map in the Riot App closer to the festival to see points of interest, restaurants, late night aftershow venues, pharmacies, grocery stores, and more!
Biking to Riot Fest
+ Bike Parking
Bike parking, provided by local organization Working Bikes, will be available just north of Ogden, between Albany and Sacramento. Working Bikes will be keeping an eye on parked bikes in this sea of metal barriers (but it’s still a good idea to bring your lock!). Something up with your ride? Feel free to ask the WB crew for air or a quick safety check.
This service is at no cost. Donations are strongly encouraged. Working Bikes provides a repair and retail storefront and operates a donation center to recycle and reuse old bike parts. Hell yeah for sustainability!
Public + Private Transportation
CTA
Via the Pink Line
Just around the corner from the entrance to Riot Fest, this is the most convenient way to get to Riot Fest in Douglass Park. Take the Pink Line and exit the train at the California stop.
Once off the train, head north on California, make a left (west) on 19th St., then a right on Albany Ave. Head north on Albany Ave, then turn right on Ogden Ave and the Riot Fest entrance will be on your right at the corner of Ogden Ave. and Sacramento Dr. (The total distance is only 0.71 miles!)
Visit TransitChicago.com for service hours and more information.
Metra
Via the BNSF Railway Line
To accommodate passengers traveling to Riot Fest at Douglass Park, Metra will operate a modified BNSF schedule from Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20. Select trains will make additional stops at the Western Avenue Station.

Rideshare
Pickup/Dropoff Point: W Ogden Ave & S Farrar Dr

Additional pickup/dropoff points will be available north of the festival, outside of the streets surrounding Douglass Park (W Roosevelt Rd between Albany Ave and S California Ave south to W 19th St). Uber will provide in-app instructions to help guide you to these points. Please remain clear of the hospitals on California Ave to the east and 19th St to the south.
