Ross Canter, baker and co-founder of Cookie Good, had a dream.
While lying in bed one night thinking about crushed candy canes he came up with the idea of making a cookie out of Cheetos.
Ross told Daily Mail Online: ‘I do love Cheetos so this kind of thing sometimes happens. Inspired, I quickly started building a new cookie recipe in my mind. The next day, armed with a party-sized bag of Cheetos and a tub of cheddar cheese powder, I got to work.’
‘There is something so strange, so surprisingly delicious about this cookie. It’s cheesy, salty, sweet and it just might turn your fingertips orange.’
The Cheetos cookies, cost $1.95 each or you can get a dozen for $23. They are made from sugar cookie dough combined with Cheetos and cheddar powder. Before baking the cookies, the dough is rolled in the crushed Cheetos which Ross claims adds to the cookies’ authenticity and ‘ensures the famous orange fingertips.’
