Marnie is a 1 year old spayed female who came into the shelter as a stray on 4/5.
This pretty girl was so excited to see us and get out of her cage. Marnie has a lot of energy and pulls strongly on leash because she wants to get going. She is such a cutie – long body and long legs. Marnie is on the thin side and was very focused on getting treats. She does know sit (and needs to work on taking treats more gently). She wanted to get in our laps and just cuddle (when she wasn’t investigating everything). She passed by other dogs with no issues at all. Marnie seems young but very attentive and motivated to learn.
Marnie attends dog playgroup where she can hang out and have fun or get some chase going depending on the play abilities of her partner. She doesn’t appreciate a lot of physical contact from rougher play partners and will issue a correction when she’s not comfortable with play.
