ICYMI: Riot Fest Weekly Horoscopes are up now, and you can buy the remnants of one of The Misfits‘ Jerry Only’s legendary Rickenbacker basses!
We’d like to wish a happy 10th anniversary to Nine Inch Nails‘ “Capital G” single, which was released on July 11th, 2007. Common speculation is that the “G” stands for “George,” as in George W. Bush, who had been President for seven years by that point. Remember when George W. Bush was the President? Those were the days. Anyway, we digress…Trent Reznor says the “G” stands for “Greed,” which doesn’t seem too far off.
Consequence of Sound has a new interview with Eugene Hütz, talking about Gogol Bordello‘s new single “Walking on the Burning Coal” from the band’s new album, Seekers and Finders, due out August 25th. Oh, and not only do they talk about the song, but you can hear this great song about manifesting your destiny as well!
Stereogum just published a Dean Ween-led oral history of Ween‘s The Mollusk album in honor of its 20th anniversary.
Silverstein has revealed another ripping song from its new album, Dead Reflection. Check out “Mirror Box,” OK?
