Kevin Devine’s aforementined 7-inch series returns July 27 with Devinyl Splits No. 8, featuring David Bazan on side A, backed with Devine on the flip.
Devinyl Splits No. 8 is the eighth split in the Riot Fest 2018 artist’s Devinyl Splits series, where Devine brings in ringers to cover songs with him. This time around, the band Now, Now is covered: David Bazan does “Thread,” while Devine dutifully handles “Prehistoric.”
The Bazan split-single follows up on Devinyl Splits No. 7, which features Craig Finn & The Uptown Controllers as Devine’s special guest.
