How The Heck Do I Get To Riot Fest?

How The Heck Do I Get To Riot Fest?

The 2023 Riot Fest Transportation Guide is here
August 1, 2023 (September 13, 2023) // Riot Fest

You checked out the lineup. You scanned the FAQ. Now, only one question remains: “How the heck do I get to Riot Fest in Douglass Park?”

First off, you’re gonna want to get tickets if you haven’t already. One-day, two-day, and three-day tickets are still available. Get them while you can.

Ok, now that you can definitely get in, we’ve got some ideas. We suggest taking public transportation, riding a bicycle, taking a cab, or using a ride sharing service to get to Riot Fest. These are the most effective, environmentally sound and neighborly methods to get to Douglass Park. The CTA Pink Line’s California Ave. stop is just blocks away from the festival entrance and is probably the easiest route to the fest.

The entrance to Riot Fest is located at the intersection of W. Ogden Ave. & S. Sacramento Dr. Chicago, IL 60623.

BOX OFFICE

Located near the corner of Ogden & Sacramento.

Box Office Hours

Friday, September 15th 11 AM – 9 PM
Saturday, September 16th 11 AM – 9 PM
Sunday, September 17th 11 AM – 9 PM

CTA
Via the Pink Line L Train
Just around the corner from the entrance to Riot Fest, this is the most convenient way to get to Riot Fest & Carnival in Douglass Park. Board the Pink Line and exit the train at the California stop.

Once off the train, head north on California, make a left (west) on 19th St., then a right on Albany Ave. Head north on Albany Ave, then turn right on Ogden Ave. and the Riot Fest entrance will be on your right at the corner of Ogden Ave. and Sacramento Dr. Total distance is only .71 miles.

Riot Fest is actively working with the CTA to increase service and frequency to and from Douglass Park. Please visit TransitChicago.com & the links provided below for service hours and additional information.

RIDESHARE
Pickup/Dropoff Point: W Ogden Ave & S Farrar Dr

The official Rideshare Point is located on Ogden Ave, as noted on the map above. Out the main gate and to your right. Additional pickup/dropoff points will be available north of the festival, outside of the streets surrounding Douglass Park (W Roosevelt Rd between Albany Ave and S California Ave south to W 19th St).
