Riot Fest Secures Multi-Year Deal with Chicago Park District
Thanks to a new multi-year agreement with the Chicago Park District, and with the support of Alderwoman Monique Scott and the Mayor’s Office, Riot Fest will remain in Chicago’s own Douglass Park.
Within this deal, the Park District alongside Riot Fest have agreed on a 30% of total event-related revenue will be reinvested into Douglass Park, opposed to the 10% from previous years.
Since 2015, Riot Fest’s connection to Douglass Park has extended far beyond the festival weekend. Through our Beyond the Fest initiative, we’ve been able to support and be involved in the community year-round.
