Temporary Community Employees
We are currently seeking residents from North Lawndale and Douglas Park-adjacent communities to work in temporary positions during this year’s festival. These temporary positions are available in various departments.
Jobs include, but aren’t limited to:

✶ Information Services
✶ Event Setup
✶ Event Tear-Down
✶ Gate Attendants
✶ Grounds Maintenance
✶ Sanitation; Trash Removal
✶ ID/Wristbands Checkers
✶ General On-Call Staff Positions

Riot Fest Community Job Fairs in Douglas Park:
Prospective employees can learn about and apply for all of the exciting work opportunities available during Riot Fest. The annual music festival takes place September 14-16 in Douglas Park.
The Riot Fest Community Job Fairs will take place alongside the Douglas Park Beautification Initiative and Community Ticket registration area, near the intersection of Ogden and Sacramento (see map below).
✶ Sunday, July 15 (10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m)
✶ Saturday, August 11 (10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
✶ Saturday, August 18 (11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m)
– Booth at Douglas Park’s Chicago Westside Music Festival
✶ Sunday, August 19 (10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)

ALL Applicants Must:
✶ Be at least 18 years old by September 7, 2018
✶ Be able to stand for at least eight hours
✶ Be able to lift at least 20 pounds
✶ Reside within the Douglas Park community
