An Interview With The Regrettes

Queens of the Stone Age, who just kicked our butts with an amazing performance at Riot Fest a few weeks ago, are in the UK in support of their new album Villains.

On tonight’s episode of BBC Two show ‘Later… With Jools Holland,’ Josh Homme and Dean Fertita performed and amazing stripped down version of the song ‘Villains of Circumstance’.

You can stream the full album, which was released on August 25th, here, and watch to the haunting version of ‘Villains of Circumstance’ above.

Don’t call Sciatic Nerve a “supergroup.” No, this new band from northern California that features members of the Swingin’ Utters, Nothington, Cobra Skulls, and Western Addiction prefer “veteran wine punk group,” as you can read below in our interview with lead singer Chris Matulich. But before you dive into the interview, check out the world premiere of the video for “Buy a Horse,” from the band’s self-titled debut, out next Friday the 13th on Anxious and Angry Records.

Kali Masi hits the road for a tour of the Midwest and South later this month, kicking things off with a record release show at Chicago’s Cobra Lounge on October 19th. In advance, we’re excited to share a full stream of Wind Instrument.

Give yourself a round of applause for making it through another week! Have a great weekend, and please take care of each other out there.
